College Prowler
Can't decide between these three choices!?
I have been accepted to The University of Florida, New College of Florida, and Florida International University, but I'm stumped as to where to go!
UF sounds like it will give me an immense choice of opportunities for the future; the academic passion at NCF really attracts me, plus it's close-knit community; and FIU seems like a pretty decent place.
I've researched a whole lot from the choices, specifically UF and NCF through College Prowler and all those other sites.
Could anyone help me decide? :
There is no question that overall, the University of Florida is considered the best school of the three. FIU is okay, but I'll admit that in 30 years of academia, I've never heard of NCF. That could be because I'm not in the liberal arts, but having spent much of my life at liberal arts colleges, you would think that I would have heard of it. This could potentially create problems for you down the line. In the end, you need to go to a place which is right for you. Most schools have "accepted student days" or something like that, to give students a last chance to make a decision. I would go to these for the schools which are genuinely in the running, and make up my mind that way.
