Dorm In A Box
Is it weird that I want to lock my expensive stuff up when I leave my dorm room?
I will be in a dorm with one room mate this fall, and I was thinking about getting a locking box big enough to put my laptop, Ipod, and other valuables while I am out of the dorm room. My mom and best friend think it looks paranoid, but I'd rather not take a gamble with my stuff. What do you think?
Doesn't sound paranoid to me, it sounds smart. Even if you are 100% sure about your room mate, you can not be sure of anyone he or she may bring in while you're not there. So what if your roomie thinks you don't trust them.....you can have warm fuzzy feelings or you can have your things.
