Dorm Room Decorating
Decorating style for a dorm room room?
I love pop art and am bringing a copy of Andy Warhol's 'Diamond Dust Shoes' along with vintage pictures of James Dean and Marylin Monroe. Will these two styles combine well? If not, any suggestions? I'm not totally sure so any help or tips would be great.
Sure, I think the two styles will belend just fine. I'm guessing that the pictures aren't poster-size?
One problem I've found with dorm-decorating (I have 3 years experience) is that a lot of people try to put too much stuff up on the walls. If you really love that Warhol poster - feature it. Use black as your base the bold colors from the poster in your bedspread and other accessories.
The vintage pictures are neutral, since they are B & W. I bet your room will turn out awesome. Best of luck!
